Membership

As you may know, a new personal data protection law comes into effect on 25 May 2018.

Consequently, the Friends need the permission of existing members to stay in touch, even if you gave us your permission before. If we do not have your consent, we will not be allowed to update you by post or email about the work of the Friends or the health-related grants that we have given to the local community (although this information will still be available for you to access on this website).

If you would like to continue to hear from the Friends, please could you complete a new Membership Form (now known as a “Supporter and Donor Form”) with your name and address details in Part 1, and then tick the relevant boxes in the centre of the form “WE WOULD LIKE TO KEEP IN TOUCH WITH YOU”.

Please then sign and date the form where indicated and return it to our Treasurer (details provided at the bottom of the form) or to our Administrator, Friends of Savernake Hospital and the Community, c/o the Friends Shop, Savernake Hospital, Marlborough SN8 3HL.

Supporters who attended the May 2018 Friends AGM who completed the Supporter and Donor Form at the AGM – or who have subsequently received and returned the form by post do not need to complete and return another copy.

We only communicate with our supporters when it is necessary: we only send out a newsletter once or twice a year, together with AGM notifications. If you would like to know more about our policy on the protection of personal data, click here.
