A new set of curtains have been installed at the Physiotherapy department at Savernake Hospital, thanks to a grant from The Friends. According to Nick Davey, Estates Manager, the new curtains have brightened up the area, and received positive comments from both patients and staff.
The curtains were bought to replace the old ones, which had lasted for nearly 25 years. As Janet Louth, Chair of The Friends said: “The new curtains cost £1,600. I discovered, whilst researching the history of grants given since 1958, the last physio curtains were bought in 2001 and actually cost over £100 more. Let’s hope these last as long!”
