Over the last 2 years, Friends of Savernake and the Community (The Friends) have given £15,000 to Brighter Futures for the new A&E department at GWH. £10,000 will go towards medical resus dividers, and a further £5000 has already been used to help fund mobile x-ray units.
Lisa Utting, Brighter Futures Manager, said:
“We are extremely grateful to receive a further £10,000 from Friends of Savernake Hospital and the Community towards equipping and enhancing our new Emergency Department as part of our Way Forward Appeal. This generous donation will go towards medical resus dividers which are used to store equipment for use in a life-saving emergency situation, and help our staff provide better care for our patients.”
Since 2015 the Friends have given over £57,000 to GWH.
